Forward: Rene, Ronaldo Subs: Jurg, Yoichi, Masaki First half: It was chilly night and good weather for playing football. There was the big struggle between German Allstars against KCC Dragons in front of us (3-1 won!), and all of us also felt football was totally unpredictable. In the first half, Swiss were passing around the pitch while Knights were only using the long feed. However we sometimes lacked accuracy of the (last) pass and the opponent counter-attacked and had brought some dangerous situations. David, Sandro and Eric saved a lot in a pinch. Meantime after 25 minutes Shawn and Peter M. started to win the ball possession. Straightforward ground pass from Peter M. to Rene, and his strong shot brought opponent GK’s punching, and Marco jumped to the 2nd ball!! Swiss got 1st goal in the good time. As Franco said 1st half was so-so overall. Second half: No change from the starting member and Swiss kept dominating the game. After 10 minutes some of players started to be tired, and Ken was replaced by Masaki. Knights were apparently looking for the chance of counter-attack and around 25 minutes when many of Swiss players pushed up and try to attack the goal, Knights intercepted the ball and kicked toward offensive players!! After 2 or 3 passes, our defenders couldn’t cope with it because just few players stayed back, and last resort Eric couldn’t touch the ball and they equalized the game… There were unfortunate tackles done by Shawn and it was his 2nd yellow card in this match, remaining 10 players tried hard to get 3 points however the time was too short… Then the final score was 1-1 draw. We could do better in the first half. Especially we should shoot more from the 2nd line (including myself).
